Probably one of the most popular cheerleading jumps, the toe touch is a basic move that can be used in many routines. This jump requires a lot of flexibility and can be a difficult skill to master, but with practice you can get it right.

The toe touch involves reaching out with your arms and legs. It requires great flexibility and core strength. In order to complete the toe touch, you should be able to bend your knees and keep your back straight. If you have tight hamstrings or a tight lower back, you may not be able to complete the toe touch.

When you’re learning the toe touch, you can use basic stretching techniques to help you get ready. Start with a basic stretch, where you stand with your feet together and reach down. You can also use jumping jacks to help you practice the toe touch.

When you are ready to perform the toe touch, start with your feet together and keep your head up. Bend one knee and stretch out your other leg. Make sure your heel is pointed to the side. In addition, point your shoelaces to the ceiling. You can also keep your arms out to your sides.

Once you’ve gotten the legs and arms straight, swing your arms down. Make sure your arms are not too high. This can throw off your body control and make the jump look sloppy.
