Poms: This film is based on a true story of a group of senior cheerleaders in Sun City, Arizona, that has been around since 1979. The story follows the journey of one of these women as she tries to fulfill her cheerleading dream and become a member of the senior citizen cheerleading squad. The film’s premise is an inspirational one: it shows that age doesn’t matter, and that you can find cheerleading for anyone no matter how old you are.
