The Cheerleading Competition is going to be held in the fall of 2021 at the United States Military Academy at West Point, LA. This competition is going to be one of the first new cheer competitions to be integrated into a high school athletic program. This competition will bring together cheer squads from around the nation and internationally. In order to qualify for this competition each cheerleading squad must submit a cheer plan and a song to the team coordinator. Each team on each team will then perform a choreographed routine on stage that culminates with the cheerleaders performing their own routines at the conclusion of the show.
There are several things that teams must do in order to be ready for the upcoming international competition. They will need to compile a cheerleading competition 2021 strategy that includes meeting with cheerleaders from all over the country and formulating a cheerleading competition that is specific to their team. This means that some teams may have a choreographed routine and some teams may not. Teams also need to develop a cheerleading competition game plan that involves both the music and the dance. Teams need to find out if they can join forces from a cheerleading competition in another nation or join forces with a local college cheer team and use that as a base for participating in the international competition.
The cheerleading competition in 2021 will provide a unique opportunity for squads and teams to get excited about the sport and find out whether they have what it takes to perform well on stage. It also gives squad’s an opportunity to find out if they have what it takes to secure a scholarship in college. Teams that perform well on stage stand a better chance at securing scholarships than teams that do not. That’s why it is important for squads to show off the skills that they have by submitting excellent cheer competition plans and by securing scholarships. In that way they will be showing the world what they are made of and what they have to offer.
